Enhancement Tips

Old Photo Restoration

For old photos, it is recommended to first use "Smart Noise Reduction" to remove graininess, then use "Super Resolution" to increase clarity, and finally use "Color Enhancement" to restore faded colors. The newly added "Old Photo Restoration" feature is specifically designed for repairing various common problems in old photos.

Phone Photo Enhancement

For phone-taken photos, if the light is insufficient, it is recommended to use "Smart Noise Reduction" and "Color Enhancement"; If you want to add details, you can use "Super Resolution" and "Smart Sharpening". For portrait photos, you can try "Skin Enhancement" and "Background Blur" features to highlight the subject.

Document Scan Optimization

For scanned documents or text images, it is recommended to use "Smart Sharpening" to improve text clarity, appropriately use "Super Resolution", but do not use too much "Color Enhancement" to avoid affecting text readability. The newly added "Text Enhancement" and "Perspective Correction" features are especially suitable for processing document images.

Social Media Image

For images to be posted to social media, you can use "Color Enhancement" to make the image more attractive, appropriately use "Smart Sharpening" to add details, but be careful not to overprocess, otherwise it will look unnatural. "HDR Effect" and "Vignette Effect" can increase the artistic feel and attractiveness of the image.

Watermark and Flaw Removal

For images containing watermarks or small flaws, you can use the "Watermark Removal" feature to smartly remove these interference elements. After processing, you can combine it with "Smart Sharpening" and "Color Enhancement" to make the image more perfect. For larger flaws, it may need to be applied multiple times.

Common Questions

Will my image be uploaded to the server?

No. RevizePic is a pure front-end application, and all image processing is done locally in your browser. Your image will not be uploaded to our server, which ensures your privacy security.

What if the browser slows down when processing large images?

Since all processing is done locally, large images may consume more system resources. If you encounter performance issues, we recommend closing other unnecessary browser tabs or trying to use a more powerful device. You can also try cropping the image to a suitable size before processing.

What image formats are supported?

RevizePic supports most common image formats, including JPG, PNG, WEBP, and GIF(static) etc. The processed image will maintain its original format unless you choose to convert the format when downloading.

Is there a limit to the number of images I can process?

No. Since RevizePic is a free tool that processes images locally, there is no limit to the number of images you can process. However, please note that processing very large images or multiple images in succession may affect your device's performance.

Why is the enhancement effect not obvious?

The enhancement effect depends on the original image quality and selected options. For images that are already of good quality, the enhancement effect may not be very obvious. You can try adjusting the intensity of each option or combining multiple options to achieve better results. For severely degraded images, multiple rounds of processing may be needed.

How to get the best effect?

Each image has its unique characteristics, and there is no one setting that is suitable for all situations. We recommend you try different optimization option combinations and adjust the intensity slider until you get a satisfactory result. Usually, moderate settings are better than extreme settings.

How to use new features?

Our new features (such as watermark removal, old photo restoration, etc.) are used in the same way as the original features. You just need to enable and adjust the intensity in the options. For specific features like perspective correction, the system will automatically detect and correct perspective distortion in the image. For background blur and other features, the system will smartly recognize foreground and background, without manual marking.
